Psychotic characters.
What is it with female thriller authors and making their female protagonists hate their spouses? I don't understand that trope.
Good read so far, though. Hopefully, it doesn't tank.

The writing. Ugh.
Why does every chapter begin with a telling sentence? "I'm sipping tea..."
"I'm in my boat on the river..."

Very "Real Divas of high school (I mean, college)" And the price is a boy? Such a cliché 🤣🤣

Way too many commentaries like, yo. Stick to the story will ya. 🙄

It's 2023 and this statement is still a reality. Whites own most of the companies, blacks and Mexicans are the laborers.

So this book starts with our protagonist strafing a guy she just met raw in a club bathroom, moving in on his friend, and…. Wait for it…. switching to said friend’s dad. Awn, how romantic 🙄

And here I thought I was the crazy one 🤣

Man, I’m not sure I’m liking this book’s trajectory. What’s going on? 🤨🧐
