Chapter One:
This is just, wow. I enjoyed this first chapter so much, despite only 11 pages taking me over half an hour to thoroughly read & annotate. 😬. The last paragraph of this chapter… I nearly wept. Good God!

Infinite Jest is going to take me a year to read, I fear. Going to read a bunch of shorter things simultaneously to remind myself I’m not slow/dumb and that book is just a lot. 😭
