pausing this book because i really need to stop started new series and forgetting about the ones i’m still in the middle of

i’m stuck in the middle of this book…. i am miserable. nothing is happening

oh my GOD wtf

i’m at 52% and i still don’t really know where this is going lol

thoughts so far:

this book is dragging wow. i like the story so far but there is a lot of academic rambling that didn’t really add to the story and is making me not want to pick it up because there’s just so much of it. imma keep pushing and maybe i’ll change my mind
