Liking it so far. After reading lecture 1, I’m really sympathizing with the philosopher’s young companion. I saw this book when I worked at the bookstore im college and wanted to read it since then. But I’ve picked it from my seemingly endless list of “books I want to read” at the perfect time. As a new, young teacher, it echos my frustrations

(on pg 31.) so far this sucks. i don’t really feel much sympathy for the author. it’s kinda feeling like the journal of a stereotypical american woman, a perspective for which i don’t really care for. i can see how this might be helpful for other white women though i guess
