Challenging chapter

“ and isn’t it strange that three grown men here in a century so many thousands of years away to discuss this crime as though it happened in King city yesterday and hadn’t come up for trial”
Discussion between adam samuel and lee

“ well every little boy thinks he invented sin. Virtue, we think we learn, because we are told about it. But sin is our own designing.”

“ And you have left them fatherless” samuel to adam

“ the sheriff was staring at a picture of three cherubim- just heads, curly haired, lipid eyed with wings about the size of pigeons wings, growing out of where their neck would be”

Samuel and Adam are getting closer- Samuel is helping Adam find a well/water, helping him in that digging process.

“ I seem to be telling you everything.” “You must want to. There is always a reason.”
-adam to samuel

Im enjoying adam and his move to salias valley how he meets friends and samuel etc.
Im nervous for him because im afraid what Cathy will do

Introduction to the Hamiltons
And intro to Olive halmilton

“I her only son “ been narrating the book- mhmm is this a intro into the narrator?? :)

“ maybe we all have in us a secret pond or evil and ugly things germinate and grow strong.”

Cameron and Tova are now both working cleaning the aquarium together starting to connect with marcellus

Cameron met Avery at the store. Now, Cameron and Avery have gone on some dates

(Personally i think the book is poorly written) ( way to mabey characters no explanation) (currently confused on who avery is)

(I’m loving the interaction between Tova and Cameron when they meet at the aquarium when tova comes in to see marcellus, and cameron is there cleaning) (cute it interaction)
