i like the change of pace for the mini novellas in this book, I’m also happy I’m reading it 3rd and not 1st in the series. Gave me the opportunity to really fantasize about the main character and had jaw dropping moments by reading it in this order, versus knowing everything in the beginning.

Very exciting twist during chapter 25. Was wondering when magic was going to make its way into the story again

Hooked from chapter 1. Nobody does fantasy like SJM imo. I appreciate the pace of character development in this series
