Shipley's response to Charles Hodge's treatment of monogamy v. polygyny was the death knell of the monogamy-only doctrine.

Fairly good treatment of patriarchy and polygyny with a few bad theological ideas, mostly derived from reformed theology.

Fairly good so far, less the worst elements of reformed theology.

Imperfect, but devastantingly on point about much.

Other things have pulled me away from reading lately, but I'm glad to get back to it.

I'm crawling through this book given everything going on in my life, but I appreciate it.

This was a great reading session. The life-blood of sales is asking good questions, listening well, and having the courage, compassion, competence to present your solution to solve their problems.

I liked his excursus into sales, particularly, given my current profession.

Ziglar, as a Christian family man, has a more "based" take on selling than many of the "Johnny come lately"s.

I listened to this over a decade ago. In April, I re-listened to it on Spotify Premium, and I am now going to read it as I prepare to get back into the sales profession after my Army service.
