Putting this to the DNF list for now. It’s just not my vibe, especially with the spice talk right off the bat. The tutor and athlete romance was giving Nathan and Haley from OTH and had me curious, but this one is a no for me for now.

Ok, well the thing with Winter isn’t as bad now that we know why she didn’t say anything. It wasn’t for the initial reasons I was thinking. With the way things just went I’m kinda hoping she gets an eventual redemption arc.

That was seriously low what Winter pulled. What if things hadn’t turned out well. Summer deserved to know sooner than hours after what happened.

The plot has taken some unexpected turns and the family dynamics have been fun to explore, but some of the romance scenes have just been a bit much. I don’t need all the details we’ve gotten the last few chapters that I’ve been skimming past.

Both chapters 25 & 26 have some spice to skip over too. Honestly if it wasn’t for the scenes that have started happening more frequently at this point in the book I’d probably like it a little more than I have so far.

Add the beginning section of chapter 23 to the skip list too.

Heads up for all my fellow non-spice scene fans, both chapters 21 & 22 can be fully skipped over and you don’t really miss anything. And also part of the end of 20 as well.
