I know what’s going to happen to Gary, but have no clue how the court case will play (even though this is a very true story, I’m very good at avoiding spoilers), but damn, so far it sounds like he has it coming. This guy sucks.

I am once again attempting to finish this one. Started 4 years ago. Restarted in 2023 (and enjoyed it until I fell off and read some other stuff instead). Restarted tonight from the top.

It’s junk food but it’s really worth every bite. I’m starting to feel that way about some of King’s stuff. He writes fall delightfully. He does small towns exquisitely. I think the horror aspect of his work isn’t the best part, despite his “King of Horror” title. It’s the in between details—the real stuff—that gives me the creeps.

Classic King. Reminding me of The Dead Zone, but strictly in terms of how much I’m burning through the book. Plus it doesn’t hurt that it’s a little old paperback I found for $5 on my way home from work.
