I thought this would just be a useful reference to help me be more freewheeling with recipe creation, but the writing is so hilarious and descriptive, I’m actually reading it cover to cover!

I have yet to read a book that has made me want to scream with frustration on every page like this one does. The only word for all these obstacles in the world for women and how they live is “thoughtless.”

Whew. This book is painfully difficult and absolutely riveting. I should probably read it more slowly, over more days.

Very slow going, but it’s because I need to underline, circle, star, and arrow every other page, then go away and think about it.
