I didn't LOVE Ashley Flower's debut novel, but there was so much potential in it that I am both terrified and excited to see where this goes

I am now realizing I truly didn't know anything about this book before getting into it it has been a rollercoaster

this is so camp

...this was supposed to be my no thoughts kinda stupid palette cleanser... however i fear im eating it up

This woman is already so insane and i'm not even half way through i am frightened

not me crying at work at the wholesomeness of a robot named Mosscap....

One thing about Riley Sager.... he loves to piss me off. His books are like rage bait, he is the definition of a man who should not be writing female main characters. However, I will give him this, his books are very easy to read and I do find it enjoyable hate reading. I will probably read more and keep saying the same thing every time.

Such an interesting premise but so far I fear it is suffering from man writes insufferable female main character-itis

truly. so good. such a unique magic system, most of the prose is phenomenal. My one complaint is some of the dialogue takes me out of it. There's something about high fantasy books that use more modern words and phrases that grind my gears.

I have barely started this book but can already tell it's going to be phenomenal. For a debut novel I'm amazed by the writing and world building already. It's been so long since i've been so locked into a book within a few pages.

I can feel it in my bones that this is going to be a 5 star read. I haven't been thjs invested in a story in so long, can't wait to finish
