I love the fact we have a 53 yo female protagonist, her crime boss in her late 50s, and a senior transwoman to help with intel.

I was looking forward to how the ghost talker got her ghost cat. So happy with the scene

I have a theory about the murders. Curious to see if I am right.

I did not expected to be so captivated by these character and their experiences.

This is so beautifuly written. I am in love and I feel it has the potential to become an all time favorite.

This is a hidden gem. I love the queer representation.

Finaly an author that understands true hunger!

This is excellent.
It is me that has issues with concentration and comitment. And my brain is not in a educative mood, more like "I want entertainment".

I need more thoughts on "The Brides of Heaven". Just mindblowing.

It started really well, but now it slowed down. I feel they have been in that boat forever.

So far the Galacian employees at Alex Easton's hunting lodge have Romanian names. I bust out laughing as one character's name is Bors (Borş is a tipe of sour liquid similar in taste to pickle water that is added to soups in the Moldavia area).
His and his mother surnames, Botezatu mean bapthised and they share this surname with one of our real fashion designers.

This book is so amazing so far!

Maybe bacause it is not the main focus of the story, not even a secondary one.

This is a potential new favorite book.
