I think the 2nd book was better than the first. It's a great sign that the writer did not just have one idea then needed to stretch it out. Definitely firefly vibes with this series and that's a great thing.

If you are British and you use Me when you should use My you are a horrible person. The protagonist uses ME so many times in this book that I am starting to fear that my head will explode. Its just sooooo annoying.
