i‘m already so incredibly annoyed by Vivien

250 pages in and i still haven’t remembered anyone’s name. impressive ngl.

I can‘t stop reading. Gosh I missed this feeling. It‘s been too long

i’m noticing that reading about mcs with anxiety isn’t great for me because it’s good at activating my anxiety

reading speed is nonexistent but that’s okay i‘m having a blast

oh no one of the main characters seriously beliefs in astrology…

deciding whether eli’s way of doing things is smarter or really just a capitalist nightmare (leaning towards the second)

i keep considering to dnf or not because so far i just don‘t care and it‘s pretty boring

why is my progress so damn slow someone save me from this book

i miss interesting characters with good character moments

now this is the kind of love triangle i like. a big queer mess where all three have a connection of some kind with each other.

this torture scene is probably the scene i remember best from the entire series. idk what it is about this scene that it was carved into me more than all the other gruesome scenes, but at least i can skim over it this time and not do it to myself again.

a lot less stressful to read this time knowing what to expect. still despise the use of slurs and i still have my issues but i’d say i enjoy it more this time around.

The concept is intriguing but the story itself is just not doing enough for me. I don’t care about the characters and the plot was uninspiring and boring for the most part.

a conversation on power dynamics/age gaps through discussing call me by your name?? didn’t see that one coming but i love it. it showcases the naïveté of teenagers so well and i’m hopeful a teen would actually accept this approach of being taught about it.
the entire scene was uncomfortable yet so important and i wish it was longer.

this reads like fanfiction in the best way possible. i’m having a blast!!
