Tokue is such a sweetheart! I cannot bring myself to believe that this will have abad ending. It simply is not possible.

So far, cute. It is a simple idea yet so gripping. I wonder how their relationship will evolve because I bet that it cannot stagnate on just mere acquaintances. What even are doryiaki?

Idk if it’s even possible, but i am falling in love woth this trilogy. The author is extremely witty and even thought it is primarily for younger audience, I, living my sixteenth year, find it hilarious to read. This is exactly what ignites your motivation.

While reading, I sometimes take notes or write little annotations or perhaps make mental notes of the plot. Has not this book been lended to me, I would surely participate in all mentioned above, but somehow I do not feel the need to do it. The plot is relatively intuitive to decipher and unambiguous. That is to say that the overall theme and concept are pretty enthralling.

I am fully surprised at how the book constantly manages to lure my attention to its traps. There is sth fascinating and magical about the story, still, even after mamy years have passed and my taste has developed and has become subtler.

Set in Central Europe, threathed with mystery, mythical creatures and above all the terrors, not so different from the ones some had to endure during WW2, this book (or rather series) is truly spectacular. However odd may 2 five-star-reads in a row seem, this piece of work unequivocally deserves it.

Original, breathtaking, cannot keep contemplating the meaning behind it. The history is repeated - the House of Death is of resemblance to the concentration camps during WW2

The world is built in a way which leaves you no path for retreat. I am thoroughly immersed in the magnificent world. This book is not discussed enough. Also, what I find enthralling is the fact that the storyline is set in a modern world where technology is an indispensable tool - still, the queens and their demeanours spike in me the sense of medieval ages.

So far my thoughts on this book... I think it is not a fling and it will stay in my head for a while - if a book posseses such a quality I believe it has the potentional to reach the dazzling 5 stars on my scale.
