I was intrigued and into the story until the writer mentions he was being haunted by a curse due to a previous family member being involved with Free Masonry. After that I started to lose my interest. Being a Free Mason and a Christian myself I found this hard to accept. Besides that little issue I continued and completed the book. Overall its a good story, a little over the top sometimes but I would recommend.

Interesting read, I can see how winning the hearts and minds would work in some situations but as another soldier put it the Iraqis who were trying to kill our soldiers needed to be dealt with and made an example of.

I enjoyed reading this book. I found it both exciting, depressing and yes there are several funny stories of what our soldiers did while they were bored. I see several negative reviews and some calling the story lies. Be specific when calling it lies I don't believe it all could be lies. I did enjoy the book regardless.
