Oh, this is magnificent. 20 years after Poul Anderson and his influence is still very strong in this one. "The Forgotten Beasts" is basically "The Broken Sword", once you remove all the dark stuff and color it with rainbow colors, give it an occasional warmth and that wonderful feeling of Magic. The prose is basically the same. This is beautiful. 4.5/5 so far. Impressed.
