As a lot of sensitive people do, I struggle with being a massive people-pleaser and over-apologising. I'm usually very skeptical of self-help books but hoping I can get something out of this.

This is more of a history of socialist revolutions rather than Socialism 101 but it's still interesting.

Okay this is an uncomfortable and depressing read as a woman, (especially after reading Romance books where women were treated as equal sexual partners and the men weren’t predatory) but this author does write well
