This author is fantastic! Been trying to find a book that explains socialism well for ages

This is exactly the book I need to be reading right now! I think Mel Robbin’s is restoring my faith in self help books

As a lot of sensitive people do, I struggle with being a massive people-pleaser and over-apologising. I'm usually very skeptical of self-help books but hoping I can get something out of this.

This is more of a history of socialist revolutions rather than Socialism 101 but it's still interesting.

Okay now it’s actually starting to make more sense 😄

This is the 3rd book I’ve read on socialism and I’m still quite confused about it how it works 😅Oh well, at least I have good intentions

I forgot how messy the relationships in this book are, but I love the observations about human behaviour.

Not sure I was in the right headspace to read this a few years ago as I kept comparing it to Normal People, so gonna give it a reread.

Books like these are why I love memoirs and reading! Being able to put yourself in somebody else’s shoes is absolutely priceless and the world should be doing more of it
