Finished both The Old Testament and the Apocrypha.

William Faulkner said the Old Testament was the one book he re-read every year. Harold Bloom considered it a literary masterpiece, even greater than Homer's epics. Disregarding some of the lesser known Apocrypha, it's hard to disagree. The Psalms are magnificent. I've been tempted to learn more than one by heart. Looking forward to completing the NT.
