She feels like coming home🫂

Things that are bothering me about this book so far:
It’s almost like she copied and pasted entire paragraphs from To Kill A Mockingbird. I see how it could be a helpful refresher for someone who hasn’t read Mockingbird in a long time, but it feels redundant and lazy to me.
We glazed over Jem’s death. That seems like an important event to me and we should’ve spent more time on it.

I feel conflicted about this content — this man is really intense about his opinions sometimes. Stay tuned for the final review!

After recently rewatching the Elvis movie I am in fact relapsing into a hyperfixation. Sorry not sorry.

Shoutout Dr. C for assigning this book as required reading for class (I’m genuinely so excited I haven’t read an actual book like this for school in such a long time)

This is incidentally the second book I’ve read about a young woman at BYU. I guess my hyperfixation for the year is Mormonism? Stay tuned
