I love this so much. Currently examining my plant collection to decide which would be the evil one.

This is a really easy fun read. I am covered in baby puke and can’t move due to said baby sleeping upon me. Still entertained by the book. Wish for our continued survival.

I’m trying. We got hit with stomach flu, now everyone is coughing, maybe it’s me. I want to follow, but it feels like nothing is happening. We’re just waiting for the riots and cannibalism. Metal af, but what are the creature things?

He sacrificed your sister and you defend him. She might be the first pick me.

If I wanted to reread clymenestra, I would have. The gut tearing grief about her losing her daughter is a lot. It’s not bad, but it’s not what I wanted. I knew Electra was her daughter, I did not need a play by play of her mom’s pov in watching that. Where even is Electra? Why is this named after her when I haven’t heard from her in century?

Struggling to understand why everyone believed in him. He seemed like he wasn’t even a good listener, and he talked with such superiority I don’t know how anyone could stand him.

I know I shouldn’t judge. But WHY TF are you cool with your daughter spending time with an adult man? Like hours? Alone? Teens are going to go off and do their own thing, but they don’t know what’s happening. The grooming stories really getting to me.

A caul is a sack, over the entire body. It’s actually kind of cool. Those babies are considered lucky. For him to take something so Interesting (it’s extremely rare to not have to break the water), and special in other cultures, is weird af.

Wtf is happening

It’s fine. I like it more than most thrillers but I’m getting bored.

The way she describes how much she loved her dad is so sweet. She knew he wasn’t perfect, she adored him anyway.

How disgusting to punish the victim, but allow the predator to go on, around young girls. Even still in their churches.

As a big who is constantly waiting a text back from her little, this book is giving me anxiety. My little is not a dip$hit like Jamie, she probably just fell asleep.
