Wound up taking a longer break than planned, but I’m back! Those last two chapters were doozies!

Wow. This book is just something else. I’m only this far and I can already tell you this is going to be the greatest book I’ll ever read in my life.

It took me entirely too long to read the first chapter. Too many distractions and too much overstimulation in this damn house.

I’m enjoying this, but I’m so frustrated that I’m just done for the night.

That had to be one of the longest prologues I’ve ever read.

This is interesting though. I would imagine if you don’t grow up understanding this dialect, this would be pretty difficult to read. I’ve lived in the south all my life and even I have to take this one slow.

I’m so close to the end, but I’m so tired! I had every intention on finishing this tonight and I’m pretty bummed that I’m not going to, but I WILL finish it tomorrow!

So close to finishing this one. Probably still take me another month to finish anyway. 🤣

It’s hard to find time to read these days, but I churned out some pages today! Really good chapters too!

Finally made it to the halfway point!

Reading has been slow going lately, but I’m still putting in pages whenever I can.

This is very good, so far.

Hopefully I’ll be finishing this one tomorrow.

It’s been a slower trading process this time, as I’ve had a bit too much going on, but I’m still making progress! I like the first book better, so far, but that’s not taking anything away from this one!
