This is fast becoming my Book of the Year. I'm 73, I lived through this. My husband suffered severe PTSD because of this and he died a broken man because of this.
Our younger generations need to know about this war and the toll it took. It needs to be taught in in our History classes.

I'm liking this but on occasion the books goes into a long rambling commentary 😄 which is hard to follow

So far out of the first 8 books of the Sydney Rye series , I found this one to be the most engaging. I'm not fond of her character at all, or her actions. She's very violent and angry. Mind you she has reason to be. I find my self on rare occasions to feel something for her and I even want to like her but just can't.
