Chapter 2 done!
Nothing much has changed plot-wise, this section is more dedicated to characters and relationships.
And Anna. Oh my god. You’re an awful roommate.
One thing I’m not really enjoying is that the chapters are soooo long for no reason. This book is 280 to 320 pages long depending on the edition and it’s only 7 chapters, so you do the math :)

First chapter done! Yes, it was 59 pages.
So far I’m really liking it. It feels like a travel log of what the protagonist is experiencing as she’s for the first time in Taipei and living everything as a tourist/student. It feels like I’m there too! Everything is detailed, which can be a little heavy but I honestly like it.
