Deep stuff - taking it in small bites.

Finally in chapter 7 it gets interesting!!

I love this stuff. Why am I not a scientist?

So far:
- George Eliot was a woman.
- This book is LONG!
- This book is GREAT!
- People are the same as they every were.

I started reading this again after I saw the latest movie. I wanted to compare what I saw on the screen to what is written. If I could just find a few uninterrupted minutes I'd have this thing finished again.

Rereading before I read the latest in the series.

I could no longer claim to be an educated, well-read American, without reading this American classic. I should not be so surprised that I love it. Of course it is wonderful, the whole world knows it's wonderful. I'm the one who is late to the party, but I'm still amazed all the same. I suppose I just don't like to admit how much I like a good love story, and heaven knows this is a TERRIFIC love story.

I'm hooked - The man can tell a tale...

I wish I knew French ...

It's time to finish the series. I hate leaving things unfinished.

I keep finding myself thinking how relevant this is 4 centuries after it was written. Human nature is universal, in any place, and any age.

This is GOOD! If you are in a service profession and want more or better clients - read this!!

I just started this book and I am already hooked.

I'm about half way in and I need a break. It's interesting, just depressing, and I'm half way depressed as it is. I need to read something more positive for a while. I will get back to it. The information is interesting.

Honestly, I find this kind of boring. I know it's a classic and all, but I am just not that into it.
