I very much enjoyed hanging out with the Minnesotans in this book. So nice to read a book that is based in the Midwest. I do so long for a chronologically written novel—this one jumped around so much I felt like a yo yo. The story makes for a fun book club—we had relish dishes, grasshopper pies, warm crescent rolls and the famous Old Fashioned!
