I’m going to need a palate cleanser book after this!

I definitely could’ve used a pallet cleanser before reading this! In true Jodi fashion, this is a banger! Trigger warning…it’s about DV.

So good!

You really have to pay close attention while reading this. In addition, the writing style used reflects the time period of the early 1900s. It’s a good story though so far!

This is an eerie interesting book. Very trippy, which I believe is the intent.

I’m only on p. 32 and Taylor Jenkins Reid already has my attention!

Omg I can’t stop reading! I really don’t like Grady (main character). He’s a selfish prick the more I read about him. Things are truly amiss and not what they seem….so creepy.

I didn’t realize Tiffany McDaniel had written this story when I started. And it is just as beautifully tragic as On The Savage Side. I’ll need to remember to not read her stories when already struggling in my own life! I’ll need a palate cleanser after this!
