what the hell

a few too many gen z references for my taste but the author is otherwise great and the story is interesting

the past few days i hve read this much before the kids get there at work but my coworkers keeps distracting meeeee

read this much on the beach yesterday but now I have the audiobook so I can listen to it on the way to work!!!!

it’s getting so good but i need to sleep…hopefully i can lock in on this and finish it this week 😊

this is a book where i have to sit and think after each chapter. i like it.

reading this one sooo slowly.. i really like the voicing of the main character and it’s cute but when i say there’s genuinely nothing happening…like i don’t pick up the book bc i don’t have a desire to know what happens next because usually the answer is nothing except some witty commentary on this girl’s everyday life

i just read a whole chapter that started with a few sentences about this man and a planned date and then went so far off the rails that we were exploring childhood trauma and then the chapter ended and the date she had mentioned at the start of the chapter didn’t even happen yet. like wow thought daughter lit fic hello

slow and steady is the way to go on these self help books i think

genuinely so confused why this is labeled a mystery but okay…first time i’ve read a ya book and really wanted it to not be so spelled out for me like please stop explaining everything diva
