The chapter on “the gift of strawberries” is my favorite so far. It puts into perspective how these systems that we have built in the last 400 ish years are exactly that: 400 years old out of the thousands we have been around.

Really fascinating read so far, I love the thought experiments Saunders puts forward after each beautiful story.
