This book has everything. Church fathers, French guys, digs at better help online, and as always, a new way of understanding faithfulness.

A big lesson I take from this book is that evil people often leave evidence. Soborroff has so many emails sent back and forth casually as our government engaged in mass child abuse. I hope they continue to leave behind evidence of their evil so that maybe one day they’ll face consequences.

Wow. This is fascinating and depressing. I sense a greater capacity to pastor in this world as a result of having read it. Also, I’ve never felt as bad for a researcher as I did for Burton for having to do deep dive in the manosphere.

There is a lot of good, practical, theologically rich information in here. However, some of his suggestions about how to handle domestic violence are flat out wrong and dangerous. I know he republished this book later so I’m curious what changes were made.

The content was great but there were a lot of typos. Still, I can’t recommend it enough.

Dallas doesn’t miss and this is a great format to get a bite-sized amount of his work. Johnson contributed a lot with her summaries and practices.

A great follow up to canoeing the mountains. I walk away from this book thinking that I truly can—by God’s assistance—be a leader.

This book is stunning. More than simply giving a plan for youth groups, Galgay Katchem points us to the vision of Christ’s church from Scripture. Although the book is bigger than youth ministry, it never loses sight of the youth.
