goddammit I WAS rather enjoying this and then i googled our homeboy and turns out he was a white supremacist/eugenicist. Lulu is a good writer and I'll finish this, but I'm loath take inspiration from a white supremacist racist eugenicist.

My life will never be the same now that I was diagnosed with diabetes, but I hope reading will always be my escape. My life is forced to be different from just a few days ago when I went into the ER, but at least we have dogs and books.

(And special shout-out to my biological maternal grandfather who also was diagnosed at 35 with diabetes thank you for the faulty pancreas ❤️)

Have to spend another day and night in the hospital, but at least my dad is bringing my iPad and some books to me later. I just wanna read, I just wanna reeeead 😢
