Please don’t take me reading this slowly as a sign I didn’t like the book, I’ve been absolutely slammed and this is a masterpiece!

I’m in the final stretch and I am SCARED. Oh my god, but it’s so amazing. SO amazing!

This book is SO fun and would probably be even more fun without an actual scientist reading over my shoulder and complaining about “morals” and “ethics.”

I love being back in Emily’s head. The prose in this series is so charming! Speaking of charming… I also love the little swoony moments sprinkled in between the banter hehe.

That EXPLOSIVE reveal just won me over. I couldn’t decide how I felt about this book for so long because I felt like I loved the characters but didn’t have enough time with any of them but DAMN that rocked. I have like 20 pages left I can’t wait to finish it tonight.

It’s interesting. I’m enjoying this so far, I really love the characters. But maybe the main connection of the story feels a little forced so far? Or like maybe this book is trying to be two things at once. I’m definitely invested though. We’ll see how it goes.
