This book is incredibly well done, but it is heavy. I knew going in that it would be emotional, but the detail makes it hit on an entirely different level.

Definitely not a “just one more chapter before bed” kind of read unless you enjoy staring at the ceiling afterward contemplating humanity.

It is heartbreaking, powerful, and deeply human all at the same time. Taking this one slowly.

Sure with this book came out before the movies. I’m trying really hard to erase Kristin Stewart in my brain as Bella. 🤦‍♀️ so far liking his POV though.

Having a hard time reading this book. It’s taken me over a year because it is so wordy and filled with unnecessary fluff that you get bored to death. I’m trying, I hope to finish, but I my just have to shelve it.

I like the book, sometimes though I find myself drifting off when it gets too deep in explaining politics or other things Lincoln was involved in, with boring detail and complicated structure. This lead me to take a two week break, but now I am back to it.

Loving this book...

So far not liking it as much as I thought I would...
