I could NOT get through this book. Although very interested in the subject of colonialism, I found the writing quite bad. On and on and on it went, unnecessarily, with such tedious sentences and paragraphs that I found myself skipping pages. And even so, it did not matter as the next pages would go on and on. After over a 1/4 of the book, I gave up

OMG. I don't think I can finish this book!! The writing thus far through the 3rd chapter reads like a high school essay.

100 pages and it has not captured me at all.
