It’s ok, sweet concept but so far feels predictable and I’m not a big fan of the writing style for some reason.

I was totally wrong and did not have it all figured out

Pretty sure I already have this one figured out
- obviously the boyfriend is the narcissistic patient in the interview
- he killed his parents
- he set all of this up
- HOW is the main character oblivious to this??

But the housemaid did manage to surprise me, so I will stand by and see if this one does too! I did like the main character in The Housemaid a lot more hahah.

Kristin Hannah books always rip my heart out. Very excited.

It’s okay, I plan to finish, but I feel like it’s cliche and unrealistic. But also entertaining. But like why does the main character not seem to question anything (so far)

I like it it’s very good

It’s good so far! Saw it at a thrift store (along with with another Mitch Albom book that I also got, took a $5 gamble with these lol). I just love stories like this so I’ll prob finish quick. Short read too

I really wanted to read a Kristin Hannah book— I just love getting emotionally destroyed by books I guess! So I looked her up on Libby, and this came up. I didn’t realize it was by someone else, but I’ve already checked it out, so let’s hope it’s good!

To get back into reading after months of not, I picked up this book from my local library as an e-book. I started too late because I really was into it and then it had to get returned so I must wait a few months to finish it. But so far, I really enjoyed it—so much so that I am back on the reading train!
