getting everlasting flashbacks

ok i think the plot is gonna move forward a little

i honestly wish i picked up a different book considering my life circumstances & how this makes the anxiety more intense for some reason but its a good book so far

weird book

its got my attention for sure. i think i have to switch between this and a lighthearted read tho

Elizabeth Lim is really building the tension and absolutely eats this style... i love any mmc who reminds me of howl pendragon

i love elizabeth lim, i couldnt find a better author to start the year off with.

im sick to my stomach! a man becomes a victim of violence during the Vietnam war, then proceeds to kill Vietnamese children and r*pe their mothers - blaming his actions on his trauma rather than admitting he is completely evil. he receives zero sympathy from me.

this far in the book and i'm intrigued but also still don't completely understand what these creatures are

written like true historical fiction

so incredibly boring

why is annie so emotionally unstable? low self-esteem, loves to piss everyone off, already showing strange obsessive behavior... jimmy fallon, im trusting you even tho the ratings say this book is barely a C+

written like a normal murder mystery so far... very random pick for me
