Okay he’s definitely grown on me. Surprise surprise. I still want them to just talk tho geez. And the sole number of f-bombs dropped in his chapters alone are driving me bonkers. I get it, high schoolers curse. But please. I beg. Please stop.

I want to like Alec, but I’m having a hard time rn. It’s giving Wes Bennett but instead of teasing her because he’s so down bad, he’s digging at her because he’s butt hurt. She is too, don’t get me wrong, and I just started the book. But for the love there’s nothing that irks me more than the miscommunication trope. Pls just sit down and talk😭

Hey! So… absolutely NOT. I’m only 33 pages in and I almost wanted to DNF. And I NEVER DNF. To the author: I hope this gets better and lets please never do that again for everyone’s sake😭

I’m not sure if it’s good or bad writing that Red annoys me so much. I’m still figuring it out.

I also fear that if I somehow got trapped in the town of my favorite book I’d be able to recognize it IMMEDIATELY. Clearly she does not love this book very much😭

I fear almost hitting someone with your car because you were distracted and he was jaywalking is not quite enough of a reason to hate them in my opinion. Also what in the world does it mean to “lightly hate someone”. Those words feel like a paradox.

I cannot stand Luli, I fear. I UNderstand her. But I do not like her. She’s kinda a jerk.

There’s nothing that irritates me more than fmc that goes “what’s this feeling?” when the mmc touches them. Wdym you had a long term relationship that ended and suddenly you feel all these “strange, new feelings” with this new guy. Did you feel NOTHING in your old relationship?? Do you not understand what it’s like to LIKE someone??

Apparently, whoever wrote or translated my copy of the Odyssey believes that the epic poem itself was actually written by a young woman and not a guy named Homer. What an interesting take. It doesn’t affect how I plan to read and take in the text, but it is an interesting argument nonetheless.

It drives me insane that ALL the couples are mad at each other at the same time

I’m starting this probably not tomorrow but the day after, yet I’m putting it in here now because I don’t wanna forget. I’ve waited so long for this I’m so excited. #KaiandPaedynforever this book is gonna be MY undoing

Honestly thought going into this I was gonna hate it simply because the story had way less main characters and I thought the pace started slow. But as it progressed I fell in love with it.

Also Chaol, honey, they could never make me hate you.

The audiobook commentary makes this book 100% better than if I was just reading it. I’ve actually laughed out loud a couple times.

Audiobooks are taking over my life. Also I saw this last year and I’m excited to get into it. Hansen’s commentary on his own book is great.

Rip Dylan I think you would’ve loved Ridoc and I would’ve loved you.

I’m normally a books first movies later kinda gal, but in this case, I saw the movies growing up and tried to read the first book once but never got to finish (not by choice. I normally never dnf books). But anyway I’m pleasantly surprised by how much I liked Brenda. She was done so dirty in the movies. Like why? She’s chill. And Teresa isn’t that bad either. Yet. We’ll see how it ends.

Its tandem read timeeeee. Here we go.

I’m really not sure which is worse, that I don’t know where this is going, or what would happen if my guesses are right. Either way Rebecca makes me nervous.

I’m not even kidding you this book is giving me anxiety and I have to keep reminding myself it’s not real and shouldn’t be affecting my emotions like this. And it’s not just what’s happening, it’s the many theories and things I’m afraid are going to happen running around in my head that make it even worse.

Isla is giving Katherine Pierce in behavior and Elena Gilbert in personality. Enough said.
