Thank you Rachel for putting this on your Goodreads. Absolutely wolfing this down. So impressed by Lamb’s ability to make the novel about everything in Dominick’s life while also making the narrative coherent and fluid. Very flawed, but realistic and generally likeable characters.

I won’t be reading this whole thing but I saw this at the bookstore and was intrigued, since I’d hear her name a bunch but never read any of her work. The stories are quite witty and provide an interesting perspective on seemingly mundane institutions and activities. Happy I picked it up

I hate to give up on a book and i think I’ll come back to this?? But they’re so drugged up the whole time that it’s quite an effort to read this ramble
