Page turner and very fast paced. I am also on the edge of my seat questioning if magic is coming in to the picture.

Love the dual POVs and use of time and dates.

Her writing is solid

Yup

Loving this so far!

Is Dawes a witch?

I’m listen to the audio but I’m having to go back and re-listen bc there’s so much going on. I’m still loving it.

Lost boys + boondock saints.

“Hello, Darling”. My mind immediately went to Conway Twitty. 🤣

Things have gotten wild with the magic + guns scenario. I’m all on. I just read 100 pages without looking up. Matthias coming through in a big way, Kaz showing up just as we needed/wanted him to. WhereTH is Inej?!

Jesperrrrr!!! What a little sneak!

Oh yeh, and Kaz is Ruffio. For sure. His gloves have been taken and I feel sad for him.

Why doe LB make is pull for these criminals. Why do I want them to be victors of this situation? Is it bc each of them never had a chance so we accept the criminality? I’m loving these characters are how they are intertwined and overlapping, but I’d feel differently if I was a victim of theirs.

Jesper is a cowboy right? My anxiety is peaked. The boys and girls have been separated and we all know they are better as a team. LB got my heart rate up.

The is book is much more humorous, which I love and didn’t expect. Also, I feel like the pace is amped up a little and there’s more chaos.

We are trying to get into the prison.

Alex is in some shady 💩 back home
With her ex-dealers cuz. Dawes is stepping up and no one is in charge right now. Alex and Dawes just tried to open a portal to hell and broke an “expensive artifact”🙄, and now they are under super dooper surveillance. Also, we just popped by Black Elm and find a naked Darlington looking something with horns. Oh and Detective Turner calls bc he needs a body looked at.

I would have thrown the book if Inej died!!

So gripping rn. I love the multi-POVs. And this packing is great. This has next level Lost Boys vibes.
