They keep emphasizing that the two older male characters are vaguely bisexual so I’m gonna be so mad if nothing happens with that

Second book from this author where there is a straight age gap couple that no one really says much about. Age gap as in the girl has been groomed since birth or adolescence and the man is like a century or millennium old. Might have been more in the other books I’ve read from him but can’t remember

Oh my god this book is so fucking long

I love you anthropologist narrators

Loving the anachronistic 1920’s talk mixed in with the futuristic space stuff. Love the world building of like just what entertainment could be like in that age it’s so quirky lol

The grimy, noir, Sherlock and Watson lesbian mood of this book is so fun. Plus, they remind you of what day it is and how many days it’s been which personally is very helpful to me

Man 40% of the way through and nothing really interesting has happened. The narrator annoying af too like really annoying
