Me, starting my first ever reread of this book: Why does this low-key feels like I'm taking the biggest risk of my life????

To quote a review of this book: "I'm a simple girl. I see something that vaguely resembles my internal fantasy that I'm a hidden dancing, rapping, singing, fitness goddess and I click." Also, I need a change from all the books that are breaking my brain.

"To my dear readers, who stayed with this series until the end, and came prepared with a bucket for their tears."

Just in case you were still wondering whether or not Seanan McGuire was a quality human being: she just called Hades the "nerd of gods" and I'm internally screaming so hard!!!!

I don't remember which Kaz/Inej moment made me go "Fuck, I ship it!", the first time around, but these two remain the best part of this book/series for me.

I know that we all like to shit on male authors who keep mentioning breasts in their books but, in reality, female authors do it just as often. I should have counted the number of mentions so far. At this point, you could just turn Boobs into their own characters and I wouldn't be surprised!

This is a way quicker read than I would have thought. Like wow! It's so freaking good!!

Okay but, like, Hugo is an insufferable character, right? It's not just me? How long will his perspective last? When will my torture end? It's giving me a reading slump, and yet, I know that I have to power through if I want to get rid of him... You see my dilemma?????

Coudln't possibly finish the year with the disappointment that was the Fifth Season, so I decided to treat myself and pick an old favourite. Great choice so far!

I seriously can't fathom why this book has an almost perfect score...

Note to self: you know better than to wait years before reading sequels! Why do you keep doing this to yourself?! Honestly, though, I'm so scared because it's been over 2 years since I've read Ink & Bone... I can't find a detailed synopsis anywhere!!

The only thing that's on my mind at the moment is "fuck, that is a *lot* of characters to keep track of", but then I remember that I'm in the Les Mis fandom, so it means I'm basically invincible.

Hopelessly searching for POTC-ish books, meaning: a book about sassy, swaggy pirates that's not historically accurate, with lots of adventures and humour, LGBT representation and cool female characters... Surely, it shouldn't so difficult?! Basically, I want V.E. Schwab to write a pirate book.

Fucking hell! Well, it was quite an adventure to reset everything so that it stopped counting this as a Rereading... So sick and tired of it.

Someday the Goodreads' Read/Reread function will not be a pain in my ass. Today is not that day...

First Sanderson novel! Do *not* disappoint me.
