i’ve been reading this book like it’s a tv show since january. i love selin

through death, beauty moves from the vessel of sight to that of the soul! this “book” is essentially dante’s love poems about a woman named beatrice and his analysis of his own writing, and before it was pretty shit poetry and over analysis, but the death of beatrice (rip) marked a maturation in his writing style and so finally!! i’ve come across a poem that i like. it took 34 chapters but we got there 💪

i hate and love this book and it is becoming a five star read i fear
