I’m just in the mood for something I can’t put down and I read it so long ago I want a refresher. I also started Hollow Bones and had the pull to read it again, which I can not do unless it’s been forever because I remember too much but with her books I want to see if my opinion has changed at all the second time around

At this point, Freida’s female main characters are essentially equivalent to those in horror movies who run towards the serial killer. This lady wouldn’t believe the sky was blue if she was looking at it, or if you told her 37 times

I feel like Sibyl still yearns for human connection and as she is losing a little bit more of herself, she is giving away a little bit more information freely to anyone that will listen. 🥺

I tried listening to this on audio because I haven’t been reading as much at the moment and I absolutely hated it which is so wild because I LOVE the book 😆 I started a new job and I haven’t been up all night and I’m actually sleeping, that’s the only reason I’m not done it yet.

I adore the cast of characters narrating each correspondant. 🥺☺️

The book is a fast paced cutsey romance but the fact that Waylay is only 11 and the entire town is constantly talking about how her mom is a POS in front of her, or how Naomi doesn’t want to be identified as her must be hard. Obvious, yes because it’s fact but again the child is a child and was just abandoned :(

Of all the names in the world, why is her name Waylay and the dog Waylon. Common

Her ocd tendencies are so relatable and her obsession with not misbehaving as a child and having things all “like so” 🫠

It’s written like their relationship is okay and accepted between the two of them, but it is kind of one sided and Wendy seems to be resentful although she tries convincing everyone she is not

I swear I know who pushed him right from the beginning and I don’t want to write it here for it to be a spoiler but I want to mark it down as a note because the way some things were mentioned I feel like it was obvious for when I do my review
