Cheryl is on page 94 of 253 of Garden Songs: A Spiritual Formation Field Journal
Once again it's been a couple years since I last read my own book. Wild just how different an experience it is each time. Thought I'd relate to it a little less, deeper now into this new chapter of life, but if anything I'm getting more out of the remembering.

"And out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures..." "Her name had the likeness of a name. She had the likeness of a woman, with hands but no face at all, since she never let herself see it. She had the likeness of a life, because she was all alone in it. She lived in the likeness of a house, with walls and a roof and a door that kept nothing in and nothing out..." Gilead book #3. 💛

Been on a solid nonfiction stretch so far this year... Let's see if fiction mode will kick in again this weekend... Eager to finish this reread so I can get on to the rest of the series.

This one was really impactful for me when it first came out. It's been coming to mind again recently so I'm curious to reread from today's vantage point.

Haven't been up to much reading this past month, but this has been a beautiful one to take slowly along the way. Picking up a little speed today. Hoping for much more reading mileage again in April! Day 1 is off to a good start there.

Rereading this one yet again. This one's held such helpful guidance for me on this topic.

Read this one just last year. Am rereading it so soon not just because I loved it, but because I want to read this whole series, and want to do it with the freshest possible memory of its first book.

Absolutely fantastic so far. "Retrieving classical Protestant texts and arguments, he exposes how many of the contemporary objections leveled against Protestants are rooted in caricature. Ultimately, he shows that historic Protestantism offers the best pathway to catholicity and historical rootedness for Christians today."
