How Stephenson was allowed by publishers to put this ridiculously long series out there I suppose is a testament to his fans who don't realize there is better fiction out there of a similar nature that would not require endless hours of slogging through nonsense.

No one needs to read this. We all know the truth of what has been written, and it is simply depressing to dwell on it. None of it comes as any surprise, and here at the beginning nothing is revelatory. If only more people would pay attention to all of this, but the readers for each side consumes information that will reinforce their beliefs.
