It is real sad. He needs a better support system.

A lot of talking and clues. Not much action or tension.

I know at least two women who like to steal other woman’s boyfriend. They have the sense of winning a competition. They got validation that they could get any man they want, even if they are already engaged to someone else. They also feel they are prettier and better than the other woman. The lack of empathy and integrity is obvious. It is also the reason I hate some romance novels, with MC that thinks like that.

Most romance stories see the other as an object, instead of a person.

Gods are horrible parents. This world need a Goku to fight and teach gods a lesson on being parents.

Being shot at and lied to is part of the job. Victor is partnered with someone who is lacking in situational awareness.

A father exposed his son’s influencer girlfriend as a prostitute. Men or women who seek out rich person and exchange sex for money are prostitutes. Nothing against sex workers. It is the dishonest ones that are bad. Most romance novels are prostitute stories. It is the dishonesty that make them rubbish books.
