It is getting weird. Reading the letter now.

Found another strange house.

A freelance writer was asked by a friend to look at the floor plan of a house they are considering buying. He looked at it closely and found something odd.

Rikako is dating Gaku, a nice and easy-going guy. He proposed and is waiting for an answer. Rikako wants to know something before she decides to accept or reject the proposal.

The Patient Man

A misunderstanding on Valentine's Day between two people led to a long wait.

A day when girls would send chocolate to the person that they liked and wanted to develop a romantic relationship with. It takes the guesswork out of it, and the person the girl fancied could either accept or reject the girl. So when a guy hopes that the girl he likes will give him chocolate. This is mostly for teens.

Hide and seek. Mom hide the snacks and Tom finds them and eat them seems like a good family tradition.

Going back and forth about a potential victim or potential suspect. Picking up some speed but it is too late to make it interesting. The use of robot is mentioned. The use of AI and robot is mentioned as a plot device. The use of AI make the user looks incompetent and AI illiterate.

Boring so far. A serial killer is out there. Not much action yet. Silly use of Ai avatar without fact checking. Kay has a toxic sister Dorothy who is married to a detective friend.

Not a lot of happening yet. 2 star read so far and at risk of dropping into zone 1 star. Unless it redeems itself with the next half of the book.

Christmas time and there is still work. Kay Scarpetta is working on a dead body.

1. The Runaway
Azami ran away from home when she was a teen. Her mother died, and her father remarried. Her stepmother wanted to take care of her, but she didn't want it.
She is in the same situation, married to a man who had a child in the previous relationship. Her stepdaughter loves her and likes to be with her. That reminded her how horrible she was; she wants to apologise to her stepmother.

An arrest gone wrong. Stilwell is benched and asked to stay put and do desk duty. He found a backpack linked to a missing person.

Why Hawthorne is so mean to Anthony. This is his book, so he wants us to empathize with Anthony?

I guessed correctly on what happened to Ralph Seymour at BAFTA.

Anthony's book The Word Is Murder is going to be made into a movie. He is not hired as the scriptwriter. Hawthorne is hired as a consultant. The movie is filmed at Hastings. Now, a person is dead.

This is so stupid. Forcing a romance moment with the main character with the source of his suffering, a sociopath, is beyond stupid.

Disappointing so far. Victoria is an evil organise crime head. She manipulated Nash to work for her. What’s going on is the story stealing towards a redemption romance thing that is cringe worthy.

Judgement has a lot of noise.

Detective Sergeant Roberta Steel surprised her partner, Susan, by showing up at a wedding she had declined earlier. The wedding is at Skirivour Castle Hotel.

There is humour. The main character is a lesbian. Not the sensitive and kind type. The loud-mouth, rude, insensitive type that is unattractive.

A person is murdered, and there are only two local cops who have never worked in a murder case before.

Alex Delaware is investigating a murder with Milo Sturgis. It is a puzzle, and the woman has a mental issue. The daughter is missing, and the neighbour described her as weird or slow.

Lena is selfish and stupid. She is putting herself and other children at risk. I dislike her a lot.

Vincent has dyspraxia and is not good at coordination. His older brother Ewan is good at playing sports. His dad is a life coach and talks a lot of BS without understanding Vincent.

The manga starts with torture used by the Catholic Church against humans, including scientists, in the 15th century. I read books about this in the past, and it made me realise this is nothing but an evil, sadistic cult.
