Scott is Re-reading this in accordance to pastoral authority (Fr. Huddleston gently asked [him] to read it and it didn’t take much convincing). Scott then informed me that he’s invited himself into a book club, and so as to not feel left out I too am rereading this due to Scott’s persuasion (I wouldn’t dare call what he has authority) and not wanting to feel left out of the book club.

Gotta update the goodreads during the layover. If I don’t finish on this next flight, be disappointed in me. I deserve it.

Am I about to finish a Michael O’Brien book in one month?? Lowkey maybe

Not sure this book fits with my normal book lineup lol.

Sometimes I wonder if I read just to have another’s story to tell about. Has my own story grown too boring? I sit and read these grand tales of another’s life, and when someone ask I answer, “Read this story. Read about Jimmy and Antonia”. I’m sitting in my sunroom lost in another’s story. It’s like tasting heaven before it’s here.

But that has nothing to do with My Antonia. It’s just my thoughts.
