Respectfully Theophilos if you’re not Catholic at the end of this book I might cry about it. Loukas is so kind and good.

Okay, she’s cooking now

We’re back book club.

I wouldn’t be shocked if I name my first born son Atticus.

Respectfully, this book is sh*t. The concept is interesting so I’ll keep reading to write a scathing review. But lowkey sucks so much.

Why not read another book?

My other book club finally met. Apparently we’re finishing by sep. 23 which means break on Theo and back to Tequila…I mean To Kill A Mockingbird.

Crying in the club. Wtf.

How many book clubs can Shayna be in?

Lowkey it’s cooking now

Ngl every time I pick up this book I have to remember to read slowly and actually digest what he’s saying or else I get lost in the sauce tbh

I’m drawn to the plot, but every reread I remember why it’s subpar compared to other dystopian books of its time.

TBH reading this while waiting on my three book clubs to decide what we’re doing next.

Scott is Re-reading this in accordance to pastoral authority (Fr. Huddleston gently asked [him] to read it and it didn’t take much convincing). Scott then informed me that he’s invited himself into a book club, and so as to not feel left out I too am rereading this due to Scott’s persuasion (I wouldn’t dare call what he has authority) and not wanting to feel left out of the book club.

Gotta update the goodreads during the layover. If I don’t finish on this next flight, be disappointed in me. I deserve it.

Am I about to finish a Michael O’Brien book in one month?? Lowkey maybe

You should read this.

If you haven’t read Kristin yet you should.

“Hope is a good thing. Maybe the best thing. And good things never die.”-Andy (The Shawshank Redemption movie)

It reminds me of the little prince.

Not sure this book fits with my normal book lineup lol.

Sometimes I wonder if I read just to have another’s story to tell about. Has my own story grown too boring? I sit and read these grand tales of another’s life, and when someone ask I answer, “Read this story. Read about Jimmy and Antonia”. I’m sitting in my sunroom lost in another’s story. It’s like tasting heaven before it’s here.

But that has nothing to do with My Antonia. It’s just my thoughts.
