GI Joe is there.

Fabulous. Launched me into a two year Method binge.

I put this down and it stayed down for months, so now I gotta go back and start all over. This is far better than anybody coulda reasonable expected. Achieves the same tone as the magnificent film, and comes up with good backstory and new things for our protagonists to do.

So far? Better than I had any reason to expect.

Frost is majorly smart and interesting to hear from. This work definitely shatters the perception that Twin Peaks is all David Lynch, even as Frost is effusive about DL. Befitting a work like Twin Peaks, Frost has a deeply felt perspective on US culture, politics and psychodynamics. Loved this to bits.

Essential for obsessives and obsessive-adjacent; reliance on “oral history”/interview format slows the pace and leaves us at the mercy of way ex post facto recollections.
