fantasy at it's best. I really enjoyed it.

I am loving this .... I started it yesterday and cannot put it down. From London to Paris, with New York thrown in for good measure. An evocative tale of rich and poor, perfume and the senses .... with a touch of mystery as well.

I've just finished Catrin Collier's Swansea Girls trilogy. This one is of the same genre but it's slow going at the moment .... not hooked yet

Given up .... so many errors, words missing from sentences making them meaningless and detracting from the story.

I am not sure if I can go on with this. There are so many typos and grammatical errors that they distract from the story line. For example : "Tell me, Theodore, how is that old twerp's been doing?"

Another Kindle freebie .... let's see how I do with this one

Picked this up as a Kindle freebie as a bit of light relief. Just started it - not sure yet!

what total rubbish ...... just an excuse for a complete bonk fest .... good job it was a free download!

Now for something completely different (from the thriller/suspense I just finished); and in the spirit of the festive season ...

Romance - suspense - a little ghostliness thrown in! I didn't figure out who was behind the threats to Joy, who had returned to her home town 18 years after a childhood accident marred her life. Forced to confront her past and her own demons, could there be a happy ever after?

I loved it .... the descriptions of life in Southern Italy are perfect; the characters (especially the Italian ones) are so real. The food and cooking just make the story more interesting. A great read, definitely recommended.

Oh I am so loving this ..... when I started it I thought I had read it. Then I realised that some time ago I read Summer at Villa Rosa - some of the characters from that book find their way to this one. It's a joy to read

Just started to read Shelter by Harlan Coben, in paperback! A change from Kindle reading but it was left behind by a visiting guest and I do like his books ....
