Just got back from the library! :D

I am enjoying this read, but would like to point out that I count among those people who would prefer their book covers not be taken over by movie posters. It is by accident that this version of the book fell into my hands, but I am not a fan of this phenomenon. I am reading this book because Isaac Asimov is a big name, and I want to read his story. Hollywood has nothing to do with it. Thank you. :o)

I've been wanting to read this since my Translation and Literature class. I happened upon it in a Little Free Library! :)

Book One (pages 1 to 40) was very good. Well-written, and with a view of early man that I found really inventive.

Another one from the box of free books I got. Pretty good. Interesting plot, despite the fact I wasn't sure I wanted to read about a psychic who helps the police with cases of kidnapped children. There is plenty of guesswork still, and I have yet to figure out who the kidnapper is, although I suspect it is a cop. We'll see...

I just picked this up from the library. It is one of the books I have wanted to read since we say the Jerry Pinkney exhibit at the art gallery in Philadelphia. I think it's the first time I pick choose a book based on the illustrator.

Très intéressant, facile à lire.

A little comic relief before my final exam tomorrow. (Traduction technique - 2 hours, 50 minutes to translate a text about anchors)

A little treat for myself for having finished the paper that is due Monday. :o)
I probably won't finish it right away, though, as I have two more assignments due at the end of the week.
On a sidenote, I believe this is the first Hungarian book I read as a translation. (Sàndor Màrai recommended by the professor who assigned Monday's paper, although this isn't the book he mentioned.)

THE HAMMOCK

Grandma sent the hammock,

There's a drawing of a lad who is holdingone end of his hammock in his hands because it only reaches one tree. He needs Simon, Jason and Gerg a time like this!

The story is unfolding nicely. I really like Tiffany and the Wee Free Men are such a hoot! And they hoot with a Scottish accent! :D

I get such a kick out of Jim's thoughts on King Solomon and how Frenchman should speak like men! Priceless!
